ADMISSIONS CONSULTATION

Acorns Primary, Brailes C of E Primary and Shipston Primary schools are consulting on proposed changes to admissions arrangements for the September 2025 intake, to be in line with the existing arrangements at Kineton C of E Primary School.

There is one addition to the oversubscription criteria:

6. Children of full or part time salaried members of staff who have been employed at a school in The Stour Federation for 2 or more years at the time of which the application for admission to the school is made, and/or of a member of staff recruited to fill a vacant post for which there is a demonstrable skill shortage.

The consultation period is from Tuesday 19th December 2023 to Wednesday 31st January 2024, which is in line with the legal minimum requirement of six calendar weeks to reflect that this period spans Christmas and New Year.  During this time, parents and other key stakeholders are invited to express their views and any concerns about the proposed admission arrangements.  We are keen to hear the views of stakeholders on the proposed changes; therefore, we invite you to participate in the consultation if you have any concerns regarding the matter.  

Responses to the consultation should be submitted before 5pm on 31st January 2024.
